Ps.14:1 Fool says in his heart: "There is no God" |
Four Steps a Sinner Must Take in the Highway of Holiness: |
Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed with himself: "God, I thank thee that I am not as other men" |
Believe that God is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Heb.11:6 |
Corrupt & abominable works Refuses:
False God & False Salvation e.g. Being a genetic child of Abraham saves. Being a church member saves. Doing good works saves. Having "a relationship" with Jesus saves (you define the parameters of the "relationship") |
1 John 3:4 Sin is the transgression of the law. |
"And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments" 1 John 2:3 "If ye love me, keep My commandments." John 14:15 "And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us." 1 John 3:24 |

When God is denied, His law is denied. |
The Law of God defines reality, including the reality of Salvation (The Everlasting Gospel). |
When a false god is worshipped, a false idea of God’s Law is part of a false idea of God. e.g. God’s law was nailed to the cross |
Daily imbibe the idea that Self is God. Self takes the place of God in the life. |
Daily self is crucified on the cross of "Not my will but Thine be done". Believing and loving the Law of God which defines reality. |
Daily self is god and the concept of God is formed in the image of self. |
The Fool's Ditch Dividing line is daily admission or denial of God’s existance.|
Dividing line between the Highway to Holiness and the The Pharisee’s Ditch is daily personal death to self by God’s grace and acceptance of the Lordship of Jesus in the life.
